Containment of Coal Fines: Long-Term Leaching Hazard to Water Resources?
Your advisors will be a multi-disciplinary team Dr Wendy Timms, Dr Richard Collins and Dr Seher Ata in UNSW Engineering.
You will be sampling field sites, designing laboratory experiments and using a geotechnical centrifuge, and developing geochemical models to help solve real challenges in mining and water.

A 1st class Honours degree is essential in Bachelor of Engineering or Science in a related discipline (or 85% grade average in undergraduate degree) and demonstrated aptitude for research, subject to English requirements of UNSW Australia.
